GoPro Hero 4 Black & Silver Edition
In a few
years, the company GoPro has become an institution. Like the
"Frigidaire" and other "Kleenex", the GoPro camera has
become a product line by itself, and competitors now struggling to impose their
action cam, the HD camera to capture the thoughts exploits as small moments of
everyday life.
With such
an aura, the California startup GoPro has to dictate the tempo in the segment
of sports cameras. GoPro has announced yesterday the launch of two new models
of its famous Camera: GoPro Hero 4 (version Black & Silver), a video
recording mode 4K at 30 frames per second and the GoPro Hero, a much more
accessible camera financially and may well pull the rug from under the feet of
all competitors who rely on price to snatch market share.
GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition, 4K at 30 fps:
According
to the manufacturer who introduced its new models on his blog, the GoPro Hero 4
would be twice as powerful as the current 'Hero 3 Black Edition ". With a
video recording mode 4K resolution 4096 by 2160 pixels, at 30 frames per
second, we can now achieve extremely smooth video, including ultra high
-definition.
Water-resistant
to 40 meters deep, the GoPro Hero 4 Black now has the video in 4K modes / 30p,
2.7K / 50p 1440p / 80p 1080p / 120p, 960p / 120 or 720p / 120p. And the 12MP
CMOS sensor combined with a new processor allows you to take images
continuously for up to 30 fps as well.

GoPro Hero
4 Silver does not have the new 4K capabilities of the Black Version. It looks
more like a GoPro Hero 3 + Black that should have boosted the available video
modes: 4K / 15p, 2.7K / 30p 1080p / 60p and 720p / 120p which are added new
modes 1440p / 48p and 960p / 100p. During shooting, the Hero 4 Silver remains
unchanged: 12MP at 30fps. Where it differs is that this is the first integrating
a touch screen GoPro rear. Finally!
New Hero 4
also benefit from improved software on the image processing to enhance the
clarity, color fidelity, ISO, etc. There is also a night mode to take pictures
and videos are sharp even in low light conditions.
Availability and Price
It may mean
finding from GoPro not proposing 4K video mode / 30p and monitor in the same
product but it seems that this is the program in the GoPro Hero 4+ Extreme.
GoPro Hero 4 Silver and Black Edition will be available from October 5 to the
price of 480 € and 380 €.
